Hi guys, anyone had cheek fillers? Had mine done Thursday, she did at one point said she had 'caught me' so expect a bruise......has bruised pretty bad, regularly applying arnica gel. But has anyone had problems after, it's quite achey that side of my face....searched internet but cant really find any real life after fillers. So just wanted to see if this normal?? Thanks guys xx

I’ve had my cheeks done a few times and yes have bruised afterwards too. I had an a sore cheek on one side the last time I had it done but I think it only lasted a day or two. I bruise really easily and don’t think arnica helps unfortunately. I’ve had no problems with my cheeks once the bruising and pain goes. I cover bruises with Dermablend make up. It’s fab.

I'm having 0.5ml each side on Wednesday. Watching this thread with interest as not sure what to expect

Saranvenya · 08/12/2019 21:05

Mine bruised both sides and was sore for a few days.
Totally worth it Smile

I had chin filler... felt both physically and on a pain level like an under skin hormonal spot! Again went away in a few days and I had bruising too!

Anyone had 0.5ml in each side? Was the effect noticeable?

Srictlybakeoff · 08/12/2019 21:13

I’ve had 0.5 ml each side. Change was very subtle but definitely evened out the wrinkles. I also bruised and was slightly achy for a couple of days

cavabiensepasser · 08/12/2019 21:14

Did it lift the lower face a bit? :)

Bruising is normal. I had swelling rather than bruises on my cheeks. Looked a bit ridiculous with pointy angular cheeks for the first week.
@cavabiensepasser I had 0.5 ml on each side and to be honest the effect is only really noticeable to me. Although I had high cheekbones anyway

cavabiensepasser · 08/12/2019 21:28

I'm just hoping that it'll lift my lower face a little bit... Blush

Srictlybakeoff · 08/12/2019 21:41

It did a little bit. I felt very good about it but I suspect most folk didn’t see much difference.

Ikeameatballs · 08/12/2019 22:10

I had mine done in the summer, minimal bruising.

I was pleased with the effects but no one else noticed! I felt that it did lift my lower face, reduced the lines down the side of my nose towards my chin. I’d definitely have it done again but I have quite prominent cheek bones any way.

Yesss, the nasolabial folds. They need to GO

Bella10000 · 08/12/2019 23:29

Thanks guys, really appreciate the feedback. Had it done without telling hubby so had to blame the bruised face on the dog 🤣🤣🤣. It has defo made a difference, not major change but more like I done a very expensive skin regime for few months.....(well apart from the bruise lol) xxxx
