Previous thread had mixed opinions - deemed safe, bit frumpy, not at all stylish, nice. What do you think of these two? Whatever I end up with is to wear with a navy pea jacket. TIA

I’ve just said on the other thread that I think that bag is well worth it for the price you paid. Of course it’s not necessarily an exciting bag but it’s a good looking bag for hardly any money and will look good on dress down days.

Of the two you’ve posted here I’d go for the burgundy which will tie in beautifully with the navy.

Can you afford to keep both? If you can that’s what I would do, but I’m really into handbags and love to have lots of choice.

Obviously black would be marginally more versatile for going out/evenings but burgundy is one of my favourite colours so that’s the one I would go for. And it’s actually quite a versatile colour too especially if you tend to wear warm colours or a lot of black.

Thanks Ninkanink I agree at £28 it’s worth keeping the first bag. Am a bit pressed for cash so don’t think I can justify buying both. I need shoes/boots too and that’s a whole more tricky as they have to be comfortable as well as looking smart 😱

Just checked on the Azurina site and the burgundy ( it’s described as chocolate ) is reduced to £50. So that plus the Debenhams one totals £78. Think I could stretch to buying both.

I think that’s your best - they are quite different bags so will be useful for changing it up a bit and suiting different occasions.

Sorry *best bet

The burgundy bucket bag is by far the nicest!

BubblesBuddy · 05/12/2019 13:22

Agreed. It has some personality and can definitely be used for a variety of events.

I’m going to post a few pix of M&S bags. All are cross body. All are stylish and none cost more than £35. Some are “copies” of luxury bags. I think the mock crock ones are very good and webbing straps are very on trend this season.

A few more. I have posted a tan one which looks up to date and has some decent hardware.
