Leather pencil skirt outfit

I have a beautiful burgundy leather pencil skirt from whistles and, besides a black top, I can’t think what would go with it. It’s for dinner/ drinks out over the festive season- any suggestions? Thanks!

Pale pink (blush or candy pink), navy, khaki, cream and gold. I wear burgundy trousers to work and find them a good neutral.

Not plain navy but a burgundy and navy mix would be good. Definitely blush pink. Any pattern mix with burgundy in it.

Id wear a fine knit jumper in one of the colours pps have mentioned.
