How can I make my hair nice and swooshy!

I'm trying to do a bit of a makeover and my hair has never had any tlc. I cut my own hair! But now I want to look after myself and want to start with my hair!

Naturally I would say my hair is pretty crap. It's kind of fly away and can get greasy at the scalp.

What kind of shampoos/ products can I use? What kind of hair routine do ppl do for maintenance?

I'm quite clueless. I usually just wash with whatever shampoo and I don't even condition! Should be conditioning?!

@HarrietTheFly I’ve got visions of you casually swinging it about by the chord oblivious to its cost Grin

Philip Kingsley Itchy Flakey Scalp Shampoo - life changing
Redken Clean Mania shampoo as a second shampoo - v good at stripping off any build up
Oribe Gentle Conditioner - really lovely conditioner which doesn't make my scalp or hair greasy - but it is £££££
L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Creme Mousse - cheap and lasts for ever and gives me a great blow dry every time

I have fine hair, quite a lot of it but it does get very greasy. This combo has taken me years to perfect.

Function of beauty shampoo! Has turned my dry, coarse, frizzy hair into the shiny hair of my dreams. I’ve also got their serum and leave in conditioner but I’d say the shampoo&conditioner made a huge difference on their own.

Love it!

Babyliss big hair - use when your hair is nearly dry and it just adds volume

I have been going to a decent hairdresser for the past year, and it's made such a difference. Having a regular haircut and professional colour, although expensive, has made my hair look nice for once, and also quite easy to style.

I'd recommend the Babyliss Big Hair for swooshiness. I have thin, fine hair and it doesn't give it volume, but does make it very shiny and swooshy.
