I'm looking to buy a new mascara.

I've got quite blue eyes, but my eyelashes aren't very long.
Also would you recommend using an eyelash curler too?
Thanks!

Chanel mascara is brilliant.

thinkfast · 04/12/2019 23:41

Lancôme hypnose waterproof works best for me. Doesn't smudge. Doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes.

creamcheeseandlox · 05/12/2019 05:45

Maybelline lash sensational is the only mascara I have rebought.

Deathraystare · 05/12/2019 10:47

I am quite pleased with the Princess mascara from Wilco's. I have the waterproof one. However I have also used and liked many of the Maybelline ones and Rimmel too.

I'm not one to stick to certain make up brands as I like trying new things, top end brands as well the cheaper ones. But I always, always go back to Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious with oil blend, IMO beats Lancome, Benefit, Loreal, No 7, etc - it's the best!

BubblesBuddy · 05/12/2019 13:15

M&S do excellent mascaras. Better than some more expensive brands.

WellTidy · 05/12/2019 13:30

I’ve used benefit they’re real for a few years now and wouldn’t use anything else. Comes in brown and black. It never ever smudges, and that’s the first time I’ve said that about any mascara. Comes off easily with L’Oréal micellar water.

professionalnomad · 05/12/2019 15:10

My favourite is the smokey eye mascara fromBobbi Brown. Tried so many others but always come back to this one

I said this on a thread earlier this week, Dior Pump and Volume. I have tried all the Benefit mascaras that people rave about, Lancome Hypnose etc but this is amazing. I now stockpile it and will never use anything else.

Lancome hypnose
Or
Max factor 2000 calorie

I too have the Dior Pump and Volume.
I think the Chanel ( particularly the new one ) just pips it.
I also have the cheap as chips Essence Princess one that Deathraystare recommeded. I find it just ok.
I wouldn't rebuy.
But I need volume, lots of it, so perhaps it suits you if you just need length.

Sarcelle · 05/12/2019 22:49

No 7 Stay Perfect, clue's in the title. It's a tubing one so removed with warm water but does not run or smudge. It does not give a false lash effect, but it's a great mascara, good value particularly when they have one of their £5 off offers. Gold tube.

I used to use Clinique Lash Power, also tubing, also smudge proof etc. But prefer the No 7 and it's much cheaper.

Karcheer · 05/12/2019 22:52

Lancôme hypnose.
You could get them lifted and tinted too, they’ll look longer.

hartof · 05/12/2019 22:53

L'Oréal lash paradise is my favourite at the moment! Used it before and tried a few others in between but have gone back to this and it's unbeatable for price. If you don't mind spending more I recommend Marc Jacobs I think it's called velvet lash.

TheFaerieQueene · 05/12/2019 22:53

I’ve used v expensive to every day price mascara. I’ve just discovered this one from boots and I’m v impressed.

I like all the eyoko ones. And YSL if I can afford it.
