Help! Can I rescue my handbag

So I’ve got a kate spade leather handbag for my 30th (couple of years old now)

I’ve been looking after it really well but one of my cats has managed to get a scratch down the front of it

Is there anything I can do to fix it or is it ruined forever?

I haven’t tried it on a handbag, but I have recently treated an old, cat battered leather chair with Urad cream from Lakeland. It was very faded and battered and one of the mogs sits on top of it to watch out the window so it had a lot of scratch marks. It’s come up really well so I’m planning to have a go at a couple of old handbags with the same stuff.

There's a company I've seen recommended on here who restore leather bags - have a google.
