Jeans for curvy shape, short and size 16-18

My favourite jeans is finally giving up after several years and I dread the shopping trip.

Where on earth do I get a decent pair of demin, ideally just dark blue and as a bonus also available in black.

It doesn’t help that i am also jut 5.5ft and can’t wear heels.

I am currently loosing weight but very slowly so I don’t want to spend ££££ but I wear jeans 3 out of 7 days so it has to last a bit.

I really would like to try it on in a shop instead of ordering.

Am I asking for too much? I feel buying a decent jeans is liking searching for a unicorn nowadays.

I've found these ones from Next really good. Am an 18 and chunky legged - they are not properly skinny and they come up nice and high on the waist so no muffin overspill.

They have a good waist to hip ratio for curvy. I'm 5'4. Try on in store as quite generous sizing.

5.5 isn’t short ! I’m 5 1 and curvy . When I lost weight reducing from 16 to 12 I bought NYDJ from eBay which are suited to curves .

@LadyFarnborough I never thought I would voluntarily try on Laura Ashley but the jeans does look good.

I like slightly higher waisted jeans to tuck in my tummy , and my favourites are from New Look - 'super soft India skinny' jeans. They come in a 28, 30, 32 and 34 length leg in each size - I am 5ft8 and need a 34 leg. They have stretch and fit nicely, I wore them as a size 16 and now as a size 14. They are slightly generously sized. If you prefer a less skinny leg then the New Look 'Lift and Shape' jeans are slim leg, a little wider, and fit similarly everywhere else. The New Look 'Yazmin' jeans are marketed as high waist but I find the India ones come up pretty much as high, but Yazmin aren't as skinny.

Can you tell I've tried almost all the New Look jeans? Can really recommend as they are cheap too which is good when you are losing weight. All come in blue, dark blue, black and other colours.
