Anyone recommend any post chemo hairstyles?

It's starting to grow again - it'll be a long while before I have a 'style' I'm happy with I suppose but wondered if anyone had any experience of this?

Do I just wait it out, or should I try to get it shaped slightly as it grows? It's only about a cm long at the moment, but very excited that it's growing back!

That's wonderful your hair is growing back now :) And you can have so much fun with style and accessories as it grows! I used to have very short hair and I just found that a little thing like brushing it a different direction can make a huge difference to the style, like you can either have a deep side part or brush it all forward for ex. Maybe just experiment with different looks in terms of parting and accessories to see what you feel suits you most, so when it's even longer you'll have a better idea of the kind of style you want cut in.

I had a hair cut as soon as it was long enough to cut Iyswim so it was a pixie cut. It grew back very patchy for a long time and then about 18 months after last chemo it spurted and grew. I then had a vague bob and now have it long! I am almost 7 years post chemo. Talk to hairdresser ( toni and guy have specially trained stylists who work with one of the cancer charities and if you google you can find you nearest one). My hair is different now, more wavy. I will try to find a photo but I hated post chemo me fir several years as it took a long time for my body to feel like me again after steroids and all the drugs.

Well done for getting this far x

Brilliant it feels good doesn't it.
I kept having mine trimmed as it grew back a bit mad!
I'm at very very short pixie cut stage now and have had it bleached blonde too!
I think I was more excited about getting my eyelashes and eyebrows back!

Definitely more excited about my eyelashes and eyebrows! I never lost them completely but they were very patchy and odd looking and I had about 5 eyelashes!

It's weird because I don't hate my so so short hair nearly as much as I thought I would.

My body hair hasn't come back in full. Eyebrows very sparse. Underarms and legs almost non existent!
