It looks good on you BUT if you don't feel good in it (and tbf if you're asking here then it's unlikely you do) then it's not a keeper.

happytobemrsg · 30/11/2019 13:25

It definitely suits your lovely figure. I’m not keen on the white piping though personally

Pinkarsedfly · 30/11/2019 13:28

I think that’s gorgeous. I’d wear it with black or red opaques.

thefootofourstairs · 30/11/2019 14:24

Thank you , black shoes and black opaques?

It looks nice on OP (you look like you have a fab figure) though you don't look overly comfortable in it. I think the white piping on the fluted sleeves spoils it a bit tbh and I'd also wonder where one would wear it- it's too casual for formal and not casual enough for tights and boots either really.

SpiderCharlotte · 30/11/2019 18:03

Oh I really like it! I would wear it with black opaques and ankle boots with a block heel.

thefootofourstairs · 30/11/2019 18:09

What sort of shoes would I wear ?

I’m normally in jeans and boots which is probably why I don’t look altogether comfortable!

Black opaques and Mary-Janes - maybe something like these? www.clarks.co.uk/c/Kaylin-Alba/p/26145692

thefootofourstairs · 30/11/2019 18:28

Mary Janes I like

OP posts:
BarbeDwyer · 30/11/2019 18:30

You look lovely in it. Mary janes would look great.

NoGuarantee · 30/11/2019 18:32

I actually think you should try the size down tbh!

Veterinari · 30/11/2019 19:18

It’s a bit ‘childish’ For my tastes - reminds me of a little girl’s dress.

But you’ve a lovely figure and would look good in anything

desperatehousewife2 · 30/11/2019 19:24

You have a lovely figure so probably look great in most things. Not overly keen on the dress though and I think it’s just because of the sleeves. Think a plain, straight, maybe three quarter length dleeve would look far better. Those flounces are a bit much with the tie at the neck.

Verite1 · 30/11/2019 23:45

I think it looks too big for you. Can you try the size down?

Chewbecca · 01/12/2019 08:22

Can you undo the neck tie and wear it open?

MoltoAgitato · 01/12/2019 08:27

You’d look good in a sack, OP, you’ve got a fab figure.

That said I do find the dress very little girly and I don’t like the sleeves. Not sure how I’d wear it - for going out some fishnets and proper grown up shoes to offset the girly ness - Mary Janes will just enhance that.

RickOShay · 01/12/2019 08:31

I also think it looks too big for you.
What do you usually wear?

Spied · 01/12/2019 08:36

Natural tights
Pointy black stilettos.
I really like the dress ..I think.
It's just the tie neck reminds me of keyhole back fastening and I keep thinking you've got it on back to frontGrin

TartanMarbled · 01/12/2019 08:38

It would look much nicer with the neck open - the bow is infantalising.

Bluntness100 · 01/12/2019 08:39

I also don't think it works, the bow should be undone and I suspect it's too big for you.

TheNavigator · 01/12/2019 08:44

I would have the neck open, the little bow at the front spoils a chic dress and makes it a bit twee. Other than that, you looks fab (and look like you have lovely hair).

MyKingdomForBrie · 01/12/2019 08:46

It looks way too big for you! It's nice though. Not the shoes you have on with it though sorry, black shoes for sure, or a colour pop maybe.

MillyMollie · 01/12/2019 08:48

It's lovely except for the tie at the neck. I'd cut that off.

Oly4 · 01/12/2019 10:40

You look amazing. Bare legs and black shoes. If possibly also leave the tie neck open but love the dress

Apileofballyhoo · 01/12/2019 10:43

I think it's too big for you. Knee boots with a block heel, sixties style, or sixties style Mary Janes.
