Recommend me a lipstick that actually stays put

Hit me with your recommendations please!

I usually go for the liquid ones that do actually stay, but go tacky quickly.

Can you recommend something that doesn't need reapplying every 10mins?

Fenty Stunna lip paint and anything by Jeffree Star, those never move and are absolutely beautiful

Yes, this will even be on the next morning if you don’t remove it (the darker colours anyway)

The Maybelline one is what I usually use. I find some colours are really good but others go tacky!

Will check out Fenty. I've heard good things from elsewhere too..

Bourgois Rouge Edition Velvet, hands down. Its staying power is such that I often have to take it off with makeup remover after a night out!

Maybelline ink crayone, amazing and not drying at all.

I find that ABH Matte bullet lipstick stays on really well. I’m not a massive fan of liquid lipstick in the winter when my lips are dry so I prefer bullets.

Put lipcote over whatever you like. The stuff is brilliant and ties t shift all day!

I have two different shades of Bobbi Brown lipstick and they both stay put really well. unlike my Clarins one, but i really like the colour of the Clarins one...

I always find mac lipstick to be incredibly long lasting. If you do the double application with botting inbetween it lasts all day. I find even when it wears away (from eating and drinking) the colour stains your lips so it’s still there, even if it’s a bit more faint.

I second Maybelline superstay lipstick...it will not budge!

I also have ABH matte lipstick which is my longest lasting lipstick I own but I couldn’t wear every day as I think it would wreck my lips, in fact I can’t wear any matte lipstick 2 days in a row.

The Charlotte Tilbury one stayed on all day including Christmas dinner last year! We had goose. Stayed put through all the grease.

I've ordered Lipcote- worth a go for 3 quid!

I've been eyeing up Pillow Talk from CT but didn't want to pay out without a recommendation so that's interesting than you!

Some suggestions here for me to take explore!

I agree with @Waterandlemonjuice the maybelline one is brilliant. I don't normally like liquid lipsticks much either, too drying, but this one is good.

Pillow Talk has an excellent dupe in the nude lipsticks from essence which are about a quid. I don't think it's worth the price tag for a colour so easily duped (I've got at least four lipsticks that are similar - one from rimmel as well)

I have one Bobbi Brown lipstick and the colour stays put all day. Slightly paler by the end, but visibly There nevertheless

Lipcote is fantastic! Keeps every lipstick of mine in place for around 10 hours. Never have to touch up during the day.

Not quite the same but I like stains too, which last ages. the Body Shop are good as are Benefit's

The best I've ever used is Lisa Eldridge's velvet lipsticks, I have a couple of the reds and have ordered some of the new nudes. They do sell out quick though!

Mine has stayed perfect after a full meal and a couple of glasses of wine. It's bizarre. And they're beautiful things as well

Chanel Le Rouge Ultra Tenue. One side has a long wearing liquid lipstick, the other has a gloss that goes over top. They're extremely comfortable and long wearing, plus they come in a really great range of shades (Tender Beige and Light Rose are my favourite everyday colours).

I have CT Pillow Talk - it just wears the same time as a normal lipstick.

I use the 24hr Maybeline super stay, its cheap and if you let the colour dry before using the white end, it's stays all day and overnight.

Laura Mercier velour lipsticks last all day for me.
