I'm off to get my hair done in a couple of weeks (usual cut and blow dry) but considered having this done.
I'm having my hair done on a friday morning but wondered if this would last through to an early tea on the Saturday.
I've had updos and braids many years ago that lasted a day or two but it's been a while....

Those are Dutch braids not French.

It really depends on how much activity you will be doing and how much you toss and turn in bed. If you're going in for cut and colour, your hair will be clean which never stays in as well as slightly dirty hair.

My daughters keep theirs in for a few days. Helps to sleep in a head scarf of some sort .

It depends on a lot of things. Your hair texture and hair thickness will make a difference. Fine, sleek hair won’t hold a fraction as long as thick curly hair. The products you use will make a difference too. If you have a sensitive scalp you might find it uncomfortable and itchy to wear them for more than a day. How you sleep makes a difference, wrapping a silk Scarf of wearing a satin sleep bonnet will help them stay neat but if you are a really restless sleeper then they will most likely fall off and your braids will look messy.
