What's your thoughts on these boots?
I've no idea what trends for boots are currently in style.
They are pricey but I really struggle to get a good fit as narrow calves but wide feet.
Would really appreciate a 2nd opinion as I loved them but now having doubts!

Love them! They're classic and will go with anything. I can't wear heels like that anymore because I have a long walk for my commute. Are they for work?

Girlintheframe · 28/11/2019 19:24

No not for work just for day to day with skirts, jeans etc.
Glad they are ok style wise. Was worried that I'd got it wrong

Sorry op I don’t love them. The heel and sole are a bit off I think. I’m loving the knee high boots being back but I favour the more seventies look with a lower and blockier heel. They look much more current (despite being seventies inspired!) the ones you have pictured are a little too “f me boots” for me although I’d like to see what the shape of the toe is and I can’t from that picture

Girlintheframe · 28/11/2019 19:48

Oooh I never pictured them as f me boots Blush
The toe is round. It's the toe shape that made me wonder if they were a bit out of style as everything I've seen seems to be more pointed/shaped.

They are lovely and look identical to my old "fuck me" boots. Sorry OP 🤣😂

Aderyn19 · 28/11/2019 19:53

I think they are perfect. Good shape, nice heel, no unnecessary buckles and shit.

Girlintheframe · 28/11/2019 20:09

Mmmm now in a dilemma wether to keep them or not. I've tried on literally loads! Some I love but are too narrow in the foot. Found a pair of wide fit ones I liked but big around the calves and where a night mare to take off!
I've tried zolando, office, Dune..any other suggestions?
Preferably leather

Duo boots. You send them your leg measurements. Bit as expensive as it sounds.

WhatchaMaCalllit · 28/11/2019 20:19

They're lovely (and so what if some one thinks they're f me boots)! Walk tall while you wear them!! Wink

CallMeOnMyCell · 28/11/2019 20:30

They look a bit dated to me but if they are comfortable and you like them then that’s all that’s matters Smile

ploopsie · 28/11/2019 20:33

they are ok, I don't love the platform.

Ellapaella · 28/11/2019 20:43

They might not be right on trend but they are a pretty classic style - I like them. I wouldn't wear them myself as the heel is too high for me but I'd probably admire them on someone else wearing them.

Girlintheframe · 28/11/2019 20:45

Think I'm going to sent them back. They are quite pricey but if was totally sure about them I wouldn't mind.
The hunt continues ..

I bought www.laredoute.co.uk/ppdp/prod-350070848.aspx#searchkeyword=Camel%20boots&shoppingtool=search these.

Not as shiny in real life. I got the camel ones too.
