Just a vent really....
My usual hairdresser is on maternity leave so someone else cut it yesterday. I had a bob which I've grown out and the length is just on my shoulders. The layers from the bob were also nearly grown out so I did have some bits which were shorter. The usual stylist sometimes cut the tiniest bit off these to get rid of the split ends but you couldn't see if you follow. Yesterday the new stylist said I see you have some soft layers. I explained but she went and cut layers. Granted it is only one but it's a couple of cms or so shorter and the ends will now be more likely to flick out. Usual stylist has fine hair herself so knows the issues!!!
So now I am stuck with it unless I lose some length. Why do some stylists insist on putting layers in fine hair?!?!?!?
I think I may go to the local Supercuts for my next trim while it catches up. All I want is a blunt cut on the ends. So annoyed as it looked ok in the salon.
