What is your go to perfume?

So I'm looking for a new everyday perfume that lasts a while to treat myself. I don't really have a favourite, I've got the Valentino perfume for Christmas but as it was quite pricey I'm not going to use it everyday. Budget is around £40-50 for around 50ml (But might be to get a good deal in the Black Friday sales) I'm 25 so if you are of a similar age what is your go to day to day perfume? I've smelt quite a lot in Debenhams the other day but once I've smelt a few I can't notice the difference 😂

I've made a list of some I think I might like and going to test some again after work one day this week. I do like quite sweet smelling perfumes, has anyone tried dkny be delicious and would you recommend?

I just got my Zara Emotions Discovery set in the post and they are amazing! Also, the prices are very affordable at 15.99 for 40ml. My favourite was Waterlily Tea Dress.

moonsandstars · 27/11/2019 10:05

@MissBattleaxe I've heard a few people mention the Zara perfumes but I don't have a Zara local to me, do you find they last a while?

You can buy them online - I don't have one nearby either. I just bought the Discovery Set for 15.99 and the full sized bottles are 15.99 for 40ml. They're all EDP strength and my absolute runaway favourite is Waterlily Tea Dress which is a beautiful delicate floral but it lasted all day til bedtime. Check out my blog post bit.ly/2KXE32R

Ghost is my go to daytime fragrance. I also tend to get lots of complements when I'm wearing Chloe but it's a bit expensive for everyday wear. I also like the Rosie HW perfume from M&S

Clinique Wrappings at this time of the year. It smells like snowy mountain air at the top of a mountain leading down through pine and fir trees - very Christmassy.

Spied · 27/11/2019 15:22

Clinique Happy or Paco Rabanne Ultraviolet.
I recently found a 30ml bottle for £10 of Ultraviolet in Superdrug.
Much pricier usually but still in your budget.
Always get compliments when I wear it but it's not overpowering.

LightDrizzle · 27/11/2019 15:27

Fracas, for the last 29 years.

NoWayNoHow · 27/11/2019 15:46

Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey - I've been wearing it for 25 years and get compliments every time I wear it without fail.

@MissBattleaxe My dd wants one of the Zara perfumes for Christmas. She tends to like floral perfumes. Which one would you suggest?

MissBattleaxe · 27/11/2019 16:30

Definitely Waterlily Tea Dress. It's as light as petals and so pretty. Staying power is excellent. I tried it in the morning and could still catch little wafts at bedtime. I'm getting myself a bottle!

Decorhate · 27/11/2019 17:08

Thank you!

ShabbyNat · 27/11/2019 17:11

Happy by Clinique

Defender90 · 27/11/2019 17:16

Stella by Stella McCartney - I buy it over and over again, loved Forbidden Euphoria by CK but they discontinued it.

theoriginalmadambee · 27/11/2019 17:16

Miss Dior.

ajandjjmum · 27/11/2019 17:16

Chanel Gabrielle

Beamur · 27/11/2019 17:22

Pretty much any Boss perfume, Chanel Chance is lovely. Every now and again Eternity by CK although perhaps slightly dated now.
I keep smelling one on other women that's a bit like one Armani did maybe 15-20 years ago that is gorgeous.

AfterSomeAdvice1234 · 27/11/2019 17:24

Mark Jacobs Daisy or DKNY be delicious (the gold one)

RibenaMonsoon · 27/11/2019 17:47

Chanel Chance. When I can't afford that I wear Ellie Saab. Which is just as gorgeous. Just not as expensive.

weatherheather · 27/11/2019 19:14

I have a few different versions of the DKNY be delicious - they all smell gorgeous and I use them as a day perfume! You can get some really good deals on them at the moment - the only one I haven't liked is the 'night' edition of be delicious - too heavy!

SheSnapsThenSheFarts · 27/11/2019 19:16

Chanel No 5. Have worn it since I was 14 and is one of the few perfumes I have bought many times over in my life

Richlyfruited · 27/11/2019 19:20

Hermes Twilly is my everyday perfume

I also wear Coco Mademoiselles and Hypnotic Poison (perfect winter fragrance!)

moonsandstars · 27/11/2019 19:45

@AfterSomeAdvice1234 @weatherheather do you find the dkny ones to last a while? I have some that I spray myself before work then soon as I'm the car the smells gone

Shockers · 27/11/2019 19:54

L’occitane - Terre de lumiére.

weatherheather · 27/11/2019 20:06

@moonsandstars I do find they last yes - certainly not as long as my 'evening' perfume if you know what I mean but long enough! If I'm going to be out for quite a while I do take the bottle with me - I tend to buy the smaller 30ml bottles so that does help!
