How to style this dress

I bought this dress on a whim. I love the colour and it's very flattering on.
I'm just a bit stuck how to wear it. I was thinking black tights and heeled boots..maybe with a fitted black jumper over the top? It's midi length on.
Any other suggestions gratefully received!

I think you're spot on with what you're thinking but id put a leather jacket over it.
