Anyone get semi permanent lash extensions at a salon? I am thinking of them done . Any experiences welcome.

I used to, classic extensions, and absolutely loved them. I looked much better generally and was happier to go without makeup but honestly, the upkeep was too much and it’s expensive.

I get Russian volume. Love them. Iv just got back from a two week holiday and my next appointment for infills is effectively a new set so I’m wondering if I should take a break for a bit...but they’re so good!

Is it worth thinking about getting them as a regular swimmer?

Do they ruin your natural lashes?

They look and feel amazing but you will need infills about 2 weeks later. As PP said, the upkeep is a pain and is what makes the cost add up.

Having said that, it’s lovely not having to worry about putting eye make on (and removing at night). I might get some put on for the Xmas season Grin

I've seen people get the lash root lift and tint (think it's called LVL lashes), gives a very similar effect and lasts for 6-8 weeks without the need for infills. I'm getting it done soon and can't wait!!

That LVL thing sounds amazing!

I have had lash extensions a few times, but the maintenance is such a PITA. The thingsyou're supposed to do but which I didn't I definitely did religiously to keep them looking as good as possible, are so time consuming and expensive, I seriously couldn't be arsed. They can also be a little uncomfortable and you really need to go to an expert imo. My first two sets were not anywhere near as comfortable during application and then later when they got longer, as the most recent set, which were excellent, but as I say, too much to maintain.

I wouldn't bother getting them again myself, but I did look better with them I think.
