Stretching leather boots

Has anyone successfully eeked a few mms out of a pair of leather boots, if so how?

I see stretchers and spray stuff on eBay but wondering how effective they are.

I'm an 8, bought euro size 41 which is a bit tight, normally a 42 but the make don't go to that size.

Thanks all.

I have stretched leather shoes and boots for years with Colonil leather stretch spray . I have one foot bigger and wider than the other and it is brilliant.

Oh thanks @SpeckledyHen I'll order the spray, I've not heard of this brand before.

A shoe repair place will do it for you. You usually have to leave them in over night.
