I'm getting this done tomorrow! Anyone else had this? Were you happy with the results and how long did it last?

How do you get lip fillers without using a needle to get the filler in?

MotherOfLittlePeople · 22/11/2019 19:36

I've just had to google it. Let us know how it goes x

CarollaKerala · 23/11/2019 22:34

Interested to hear how this went too. Hadn’t heard of it till I saw your post

Lilonetwo · 23/11/2019 22:41

I've trained in this.
I like it for people who don't like needles. However you cant get the same effect as with needle.
It takes a good few treatments to build up in size. The filler sits very superficial and is metabolized quicker, so doesn't last as long.

FYI It's a good treatment however the practitioner needs to know how to use the device.
Too many come out in lumps because each 'shot' size is too big, which will cause too much trauma.

I have used on my own lips and it's very tolerable. Not painful, feels like an elastic band.

Be prepared to bruise though!

crazyangel1981 · 23/11/2019 22:49

So I had 0.5ml put in this morning and it's great! No bruising, and the lumpiness from it being forced into the lip has almost already gone. It didn't hurt so much as stung, but was tolerable.

It looks lovely. Very subtle. My lips are the same shape, which is what I wanted just 'enhanced'.

Actually wish I had gone for 1ml now!

@crazyangel1981 glad you like it! Can I ask roughly how much it cost? I have a very small top lip and would like mine enhanced a bit

Mooey89 · 24/11/2019 06:46

I’m glad you like it.
I had 0.5 and found:
It hurt more than actual fillers
It made no discernible difference to my lips - they were swollen briefly from the treatment but no more than a lip plumping gloss

The lady I had it done with was on an introductory offer and I paid £80 for 0.5 😱 waste of money (for me)
Saved up and got actual filler in the end, which was amazing

Lilonetwo · 24/11/2019 07:26

Oh fantastic!
I personally wouldn't bother offering less than 1ml with the no needle filler.
I always tell people they will need/want another 1ml in a couple of weeks after their first 1ml.

(Disclaimer: This is with the no needle filler. With needle people don't always 'need' another 1ml)

crazyangel1981 · 24/11/2019 19:10

@MotherOfLittlePeople it was £55 for the 0.5ml but that was a Black Friday rate! It's usually £95 for 0.5ml and £145ml for 1ml

It look even better tonight. I think I'm addicted!
