How should I adapt this dress?

I bought this off eBay because I loved the pattern and sleeves but the length just isn't working on me.

Shall I shorten it to just above my knees or as I've seen recently put a split in either side?

I think it’s fine as it is and on trend as a pp said.

Midi with long Boots is definitely on trend
Shorter length flatters your figure more though

Much trendier longer. I’d keep it longer and wear with suede knee high flat ish boots. But you have great legs so also works well shorter.

Team Short here

Sickoffamilydrama · 22/11/2019 08:48

Well now I'm confused, I know what people mean by it looking more dated shorter.

The length just seems slightly wrong on me if it was a bit longer or shorter it would work, maybe I'll wear it long see how it goes or only take it up a little.

Keep it long and add the splits then you can shorten it when you want a change or the midi look is no longer in.

If anything, go with the splits - simply because shortening pre-pleated fabric will be nigh on impossible.
