Hit me with your best suggestions for perfumes

Please help, I have been reading several threads here recommending Perfume Parlour.

I'm quite fond of perfumes (understatement) and though I would make me an advent calendar from them instead of buying one, where I only use half the products.

But which would you recommend? I like the flowery and fresh (soapy) scents. My normal go to is Miss Dior. But Lancome's Miracle, Philosophy's rose perfumes and old Anais Anais are great too.

Was thinking of trying some Jo Malones? But any suggestions please.

I’ve got Jo Malones wood sage and sea salt. It’s divine - a really clean outdoorsy smell.

Penhaligon's Bluebell? Has a woody edge but definitely a fresh floral.

Thanks again, do you have any idea if PP do black friday sales?
Perhaps I should wait and order next week.

I wouldn't have thought so tbh, at £3 a bottle for the smallest there's only so much discount we can expect- though the more you buy the cheaper they are. They knock a bit off any extra bottles iyswim. They can also take a while to come so I wouldn't wait too long.
The Yves Rocher is called something like Huile d'essences de neroli.

Versace Dylan blue is gorgeous

FloraGreysteel · 22/11/2019 15:13

Penhaligon's Castile. Beautiful!

theoriginalmadambee · 22/11/2019 16:58

@TheCanterburyWhales haven't seen they do discounts the more you buy, that is nice Smile.

Personally I prefer the roll ons!

Perfume parlour Dove (as in Dove soap) is great and likely to fit the bill! Smile

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 22/11/2019 17:36

If you buy from their eBay site I think they do 5 for a tenner

theoriginalmadambee · 22/11/2019 19:16

@MrsPelligrinoPetrichor Smile thank you.

Scent Doctor Neroli smells a lot like Neroli Portofino and is about 90 quid cheaper!

MissBattleaxe · 22/11/2019 22:29

If you want to try a selection of scents without buying full bottles then I always recommend The Perfume Society Discovery Boxes. Try the website. It's often under 20 quid for about a dozen samples. I love them!

Zara Emotions smell lovely specifically the Amalfi one.

MissBattleaxe · 27/11/2019 12:50

YY to Zara. Waterlily Tea dress is one of the best florals I've tried in years- so pretty and delicate!
