Primary school coats

Looking for a warm and waterproof coat for my 5 year old.

One which doesn't show all the school marks but washes well when needed.

Oh and doesn't cost £££ but looks stylish. I like some of the Boden ones but can't spend £70 on a coat for a 5 year old who like to climb trees and roll in mud 😂

Thanks

My local Sainsburys has loads of half price coats at the moment, other than that I dont think you can go wrong with a Primark coat for how quickly they grow out of them.

I'm interested in this too. Bought DD a nice one, £35 promised warmth and waterproof but it's invariably filthy looking, shows every mark and I think all the washing I'm having to do might deteriorate the waterproof coating.

Asda or Sainsbury's do the job fine. Added benefit with Asda is that lots have the clip on mittens included so that takes care of gloves that don't get lost.

Thank you.

Like the clip in mittens idea

If you have one locally Matalan have a good range. We've had one 2 winters in a row now for a boy and a girl. They have 20% off at the minute too.

Go Outdoors or Decathlon for mine. They are properly waterproof and windproof, good hoods that dont blow down and wash brilliantly.
I pay between £20-£30.

Didrikson or Skogstad are both great, if you can find one in the sale. Really good hoods

Have a look in Aldi to see if they still have their ski jackets. Both mine have them for school. They are light weight, waterproof and warm. Full price they are only £13. When I was last in my local branch they were £10.

We like H&M ones in this house.

Trespass from M&M direct. Really warm and waterproof
