Cheap but decent thermals?

Going away for Xmas in a veeeeey chilly country - will only be there 4 days and need some Thermals for me and the kids (girls and a boy) all teens - who would NEVER wear the items again - so need some cheap socks/leggings/vests.

Or do such things not exist cheaply? I've looked at uniqlo and they look lovely but would cost about £100 to kit us all out and I really don't want to spend that much.

Thanks.

Amazon do cheap long johns for kids - a few pounds each.

Decathlon!

Their "freshwarm" range is great, imo

Aldi have quite a lot of stuff in at the moment (in Ireland anyway).

I've also picked up thermals in Tesco in the past. Adults size though, I don't know if they do kids' sizes. Aldi have some kids' ski stuff in too, trousers, coats and gloves. Will there be snow? Ordinary leggings would be fine under the ski stuff.

Lidl or Aldi. We kitted ourselves out for Lapand from a combo of the two. Put regular undies on under them and the one set will last longer Wink

Sainsbury's had lots of thermals in nice designs today. Bought long and short sleeved ones for my freezing office!

M&S also have loads in different weights and designs this year.

Depending on your size OP, but before I went to Lapland I got myself some merino wool thermals from Mountain Warehouse outlet kids section. The sizing is very generous. I paid about £23, but the non-merino ones were even cheaper. They will certainly be ok for the kids and maybe for you too.

Primark have loads in. Worth a try.

CMOTDibbler · 19/11/2019 23:32

Decathlon, or Aldi if they have them left online.

Aldi - seasonally.

I'm in Australia and can completely recommend their merino thermal wear.

Thermals were middle of Lidl last week, £7 a set for kids.
