Concert attire

I'm going to Birmingham Christmas markets and then to a concert at the weekend. What the hell do I wear?!

It'll be freezing at the markets and sweaty at the concert. I would also like to look nice.

I'm thinking tube skirt, opaque tights, lace up boots and a nice thick jumper.

Will I look like a silly billy wearing a jumper at a concert? If I drink enough mulled wine will I avoid freezing to death at the markets?

Awkward because the concert hall is sure to be hot!

Layer up over a silk shirt? (And thermal vest!) Don’t wear a big puffy coat unless you intend to check it in at the concert hall - it would be a dreadful nuisance at your seat.

And I’d swap the tube skirt for some wool or cord trousers and ankle boots.

Is it symphony hall? If so not particularly hot in there when I went a fortnight ago so a jumper would be fine imo - it all looked amazing have fun!
