Help save my long hair from bun hell

Every day I dont have time to dry and straighten it so I half dry it and pull it into a low bun. It is not trendy or flattering and I look awful.

I'm growing my hair for my wedding so I don't want to think about a shorter cut just yet. It is thin, curly, long and lacks shine.

What can I do to make my hair look more 'done'. An easy up-do? Some miracle product? Please help!!

Nothing wrong with a low bun.
