Need help finding a nice large handbag that will double up as a changing bag!

I want to treat myself to a new handbag for Christmas but I'm having trouble finding something suitable. It will be doubling as a changing bag so needs to have a good amount of space and preferably a number of compartments for different bits and pieces. I would prefer a soft material (leather/PU etc) as opposed to a rigid frame. Needs to be hard wearing.

I'm currently using a large Dune bucket bag but there's no compartments and it's solid and cumbersome.

My budget is around £70. I'm not too bothered about brands or labels as long as the bag is durable and practical.

Tia! Smile

Slightly above your budget but what about this? They are made from the same stuff as wetsuits are made of, so waterproof and you can just chuck them in the washing machine. I've got this size but in the velvet - I bought it at a winter fair on Friday - it's great. Lightweight, and holds a huge amount. Can heartily recommend.

Ooh loads of lovely bags to look at thanks! Grin I Iove the lonchamp le pliage weekender bag but I think it may be a bit out of my price range Sad Where is the best place to buy them? The Mia Tui Samantha is a strong contender, so many handy pockets and compartments Grin

The Hermosa bags look amazing, especially the velvet ones Grin But not sure I'd trust myself with one as I have a habit of dropping/putting my bag down in puddles and other mysterious wet patches Blush So need something that can wipe clean easily.

OP I know what you mean - the amount of mysterious puddles that appear when I put my handbag down is amazing

I am reliably informed that they are all (including the velvet ones) waterproof and washable - time will tell of course!

I can't speak highly enough about my Jennie

I have never found a bag that is big enough to carry everything I need for work, double up as a great weekend bag, has all the pockets and compartments you need and ...the straps are long enough to wear comfortably over the shoulder!

Also - I LOVE sparkle and glitter so the rose gold one is perfect for me!
