I look a lot likeAubrey plaza when she’s without make up ( not a stealth boast) .
I’d like to learn how to look like her when she’s wearing make up!
I have been wearing make up for 30 years but I’m mainly makeup free and am not confident with more than mascara. Lipstick and occasional eyeliner .
I want to be one of those people who can dynamically change their look with make up for a night out etc, I just look like me with a bit of mascara and lipstick!
I’m hurtling to 50 and have very dry skin. I don’t have treatments and am on a low income although have loads of makeup!
I’ve had makeovers in the past but nobody’s actually taught me anything just bunged a load of slap on me and although it looks amazing, I learned nothing , felt ‘sold to’ and ‘done to’ and slightly claustrophobic and draggish!
Any pointers gratefully received!

I should add, I know she’s waaay younger than me and I don’t hope to suddenly lose twenty years but it’s more the fact we look so similar make up free that makes me think it’s narrowly achievable

Aubrey seems to take good care of her skin and hair, based on photos. She usually wears a strong lip colour, mascara, eye liner, eyeshadow, brow makeup and blusher. Her hair looks like she has serum or shine spray applied.

Here's an article from a few years ago where she talks about her beauty routine:

She has a very multi-ethnic background too (all of which must add to her beauty): Puerto Rican (Spanish, African, Indigenous/Taíno) and pan-European (German, English, Irish and Swiss).

@thisenglishlife thank you so much this is fab. Yes I’m very mixed race too, it can make for quite non defined features (hard to explain) but I see it in her completely no make up pics (not the magazine #nomakeup photo shoots which are always a lie no matter who the celeb!)
I definitely need to take better care of self but never find the time!

Wow! That is an amazing routine of amazing sounding luxurious amazing things!
I definitely need to up my beauty game to come anywhere near her standards! I’m as basic as they come!
