Hello,
I’m 50 and have pretty good skin ( genetics mainly), it can be a bit oily in the T zone, but at my age that’s not a big problem.
I’ve recently started using a retinol, and my skin is a bit dry for the first time ever. I’ve been very happy with The Ordinary Moisturising Factors, But now I think I need something a bit more enriched.
I prefer less scent and less cost .

Any wisdom gratefully received.

Nivea blue pot or Astral.
I only use at night but you can't beat either.
It's moisture you need from a moisturiser, so nice as all the fancy pants ones are, they don't moisturise any better than a cheap as chips one. And I speak as someone who bloody loves L'Occitane Divine but know that realistically I love the concept more than what it actually does.

I've been using Sukin cream for the past two years. It really suits my dry very sensitive skin. I use it as a day moisturizer as well, only a small amount needed. A pot lasts me around 6 months.

As in hand cream canterbury? I have an enormous tin of nivea hand cream which I’ve put on my legs before, but not my face.

Probably OP- the one in the navy tin/big tub.

The Sukin looks nice. I'd probably use that as a day cream (I always need a thicker cream as my skin is dry) Might give it a bash.

Maybe ask at a some cosmetic counters for some samples - Clarins would certainly be worth a shot?

My two favourites are Neal's Yard Frankincense Intense and Aldi Caviar Night cream, very different prices but really quite similar. I use one of them as part of my nighttime routine. In the day I use Nip + Fab Dragon's Blood serum and Nateo for Men SPF 30 moisturiser.
