Kemi Telford - what's the quality like?

I'm really fancying the Kemi Telford cord dress, has anyone ordered anything from them before to give me an idea of the quality? I'm imaging it to be similar to Toast (probably just due to the corduroy) & wonder if I'm going to be disappointed if its more boohoo level.
Basically, do I want to spend £70 on it? Thanks

I’ve had a few Kemi Telford things. The quality is okay but nowhere near Toast. I had one skirt where the belt loop cane unstitched on wearing for example.

I would say it’s average high street quality really. I have one skirt in particular that always gets tons of compliments though, her stuff can look great.

Thank you for your reply Alma, that's really helpful.

I have one of the skirts. It’s ok. They are very expensive for what they are but they do look nice.

I've bought 3 things from Kemi Telford and have been pleased with the quality; a rucksack, t shirt and a leopard print skirt. I'd def buy from them again.

I quite fancy this dress as a cheaper alternative to the Toast one too - please update if you get it, OP!

I have bought the corduroy dress and it's really nice, but at half the price it's not as well-finished as the Toast ones, no. A colleague has a very similar one from Justine Tabak and it's gorgeous but even more expensive than Toast! The KT version is longer than both Toast and Justine Tabak versions too, which for me is a plus.

The Kemi Telford is also (I think, but have not directly compared) a lighter-weight corduroy than Toast but that's another plus for me as I work in an office and would swelter otherwise! I have four skirts (waxed cotton and polyester varieties) and I think the quality is good for the price and I always get compliments wearing them, often of the stopped-in-the-street variety.

You can spend £50 on a skirt in Zara frankly and it will be crap quality, KT is much better than that and makes a marketing point of the factories they work with etc. It's an independent business and despite how much it's grown over the last 18 months or so since I bought my first skirt, you don't see it in every other person you meet, which again I really like.

I didn't wear my corduroy dress today as it needs an iron out of the packaging, but will be putting it on on Monday and steering clear of my colleague with the fancier version as she will totally think I'm copying her! Grin
