Website to buy complete outfits...

Can anyone recommend an online retailer that sells complete outfits? By that I mean they photograph all of the bits together and then you can buy the individual pieces? I need a whole new wardrobe (I've changed size and about to start a new full time job where I will need to look smart) unfortunately I'm rubbish at putting outfits together, sometimes I buy things I love but they sit unworn in the wardrobe because I don't know how to style them/don't have anything to style them with. Thanks!

it's not exactly what you are looking for but on the matalan website, when you click on an item it comes up with 'you may also like' and then the top or bottom the model is wearing with the item

sleepismysuperpower1 · 14/11/2019 19:55

(only on items like skirts or specific trousers or tops that are actually shown on the model. sorry if i haven't explained this very well!)

Zara too has ‘wear with’ and lists the items photographed below. I’d imagine most retailers do this?

biboat · 14/11/2019 20:00

Next? You can look through their catalogue on the app and click on the bits of the outfit to buy them.

It doesn’t necessarily show every item, but could still be useful

Tell us what you need and we can help? I love virtual shopping!

maybenextyear · 14/11/2019 20:42

Ooh thanks! Not 100% sure what I need 😂 just don't have any nice clothes in my size and now need several outfits quickly for work (I'm a teacher - I like to look smart/well turned out/glamorous if possible 😂 and could do with buying classic things rather than high fashion). If you could suggest something for a late 30's, tall, big boobs (so usually need something fitted as anything body hangs off my boobs and makes me look enormous), size 12. Apparently I'm an 'Autumn' colour, greens, teal & navy are my favourite colours to wear but open to anything. I was thinking maybe long sleeved dresses, midi/pleated skirts that sort of thing...

Asos, you can buy the look (or v. similar items) if you scroll down.

Bluntness100 · 14/11/2019 21:46

Most do this.

Zalando is another one, you just scroll down and you can complete the look.

Karcheer · 14/11/2019 22:01

River island and mint velvet do.

Candle1000 · 14/11/2019 22:05

This type of thing ? m.zalando.co.uk/get-the-look-women/?styleFilter=style_classic

John Lewis does a personal edit online. You fill out your details and the website suggests full outfits.

MoltonSilver · 14/11/2019 22:17

Boden show whole outfits that might be suitable. Here are a few colours that might be suitable.

Seeing as you're looking for an entire wardrobe, a personal shopper at somewhere like John Lewis is worth considering.

rosewool · 14/11/2019 22:33

If there are any brands or designers you know you like, a lot of them have a look book on their website

hollyangel · 14/11/2019 23:41

I think actually the best thing would be to go into John Lewis and try on a load of different brands/styles shoes etc. Dresses are hard to buy online I think, as they all fit so differently. Get a personal shopper to help you try things you wouldn't usually pick. Brands that have some fab stuff at the moment are Boden, M&S, Mint Velvet, Hush etc.

Brilliant, thanks for all of these suggestions, will get stuck in tonight.
