Foundation for the pale and cool toned

I’m very pale with cool toned skin (blue veins easily visible). Struggling to find a good coverage foundation which doesn’t seem yellow against my skin. Hoping to go get some testers next week- advice appreciated!

Lancome teint Idole in 008 is very pale cool to neutral toned. Most lancome counters will give you a generous sample if you ask. Smile I also tried 005 which is slightly darker and, on me at least, warmer toned.

It's light to medium coverage but builds well. Very natural finish, neither dewy or matte. Once it's on, it stays on. I love it.

(I'm typically 'celtic' very pale cool toned, combination type skin. Get a bit oily around my t-zone as the day goes on.)

Hope that helps. There's a wider shade range in most foundations now so you should be able to find one you like.

Try Boots No. 7. Not too expensive either. I use Calico, the perfect shade for me, cool & blue toned too. Coverage is really good, I'm inclined to redness & this covers it completely. I can't remember the exact name of the range but it's worth a look. I don't react to it & my skin is very sensitive.

I find a lot of the paler shades are very yellow against my skin, even when they are meant to be cooler toned. Thanks for the tips- will get some samples to try in the daylight!

This in shade 1.ONS. I'm practically a ghost I'm so pale and it's the only foundation I've ever used that properly works. The S in the shade name denotes it has silver in it - it's not glittery or anything, it just makes the shade even paler and counteracts any warmth. Lasts ages and is dirt cheap too.

I use clinique redness - 01 - alabaster....as bad redness/thread veins (damm genes ) would say mid level coverage but am no expert...
although will try the boots as its cheaper ...thanks..

If you're looking for a cheaper option (I hate spending loads on something that runs out so quickly!!), I wear a foundation by MUA everyday. They have a great colour range and it's only about £5 - for me it's pretty full coverage and lasts all day. It goes completely matte and won't smudge if you wipe your face!
Can't remember my shade but it might be 110, but there's even paler shades than that (and I'm pretttyyyy pale)
