My hands and lips get very sore & chapped this time of year so give me your best recommendations for products please
I’ve wasted so much money on crappy products so I’m happy to spend ££
Thanks in advance Smile

Working Hands in the green tube or pot. Or Lidl white tube red lid. Both are easily absorbed and slightly tacky but not greasy. They both fix my broken skin really quickly.

Carmex for lips. Classic for good reason.

Lanolips lip balm - the best one I've found. Think you can buy it in Waitrose? Or online.

And Kiehls do a super intensive moisturising hand cream in a white squeezy tube that my A&E Doctor friend would not be without (all that hand washing!!!)

Hand Chemistry hand cream

Roche posay cicaplast baume lip balm

I've become obsessed with the Palmer's coconut oil hand cream, its so much thicker and more moisturising than any others I've tried, and only about £2 too. Palmers also do some nice lip balms, or I also use Burts Bees, Carmex and Malibu.

I've suffered from eczema for years and find that Dermalex is the best thing out there. My hands start to crack and bleed as soon as the temperature drops and it provides instant relief. There are various types - I find the restore & renew good for prevention, the hand cream or eczema cream good to resolve issues (the latter works as well as steroids for me now).

O'Keefe's Working Hands is also great but a bit painful if you already have deep cracks in the skin. Works well, though.

Lip wise, I have never found anything better than the vaseline pots - blistex to sort bad chapping.

Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream. Best for lips and cuticles.

Dr Paw Paw multi use vegan balms are amazing.
Never get chapped lips anymore and you can use the original and shea butter varieties on cuticles, chapped or dry skin, dry elbows etc or as a sheer highlighter.
They also do 3 tinted versions which are amazing ( pink , peach & a pinky brown ) and I use them on my lips , eyelids and cheeks.
They make me look awake , without being over done ( I'm very pale) and stop people asking if I'm sick.
I literally have dozens of them in every variation in the car and about 10 handbags / living room / bedroom.
I use lemon oil after I wash and dry my hands and if I need something a bit stronger I'll use the thick cream by Burts Bees.

O'Keefe's do a amazing lip rescue balm as well as a hand cream. Their body moisturiser is also excellent

I second Palmers coconut hand cream. It's great and a gorgeous coconut scent.

The best lip balm I have ever used (& I have tried so many over the years) is Nuxe Reve de Miel. I use this every day & it is fantastic - well worth the money. You can get it in M&S.
For hand cream, the Aldi Lacura Nourishing hand cream is very good & I even use it on my feet!

CoffeeBeansGalore · 15/11/2019 15:22

Neutrogena hand cream.

TheArtfulScreamer1 · 16/11/2019 21:20

Elizabeth Arden 8hr skin protectant and hand cream both are must have products for me. The hand cream absorbs really quickly and is non greasy and the skin protectant works wonders as a lip balm.
