Shoe help please!

I absolutely LOVE these shoes they are everything I have been looking for at a great price EXCEPT...this stupid silver/gem bit st the bottom.

Do you think I can remove it somehow, the whole silver strip? Or paint?! All ideas welcome! Please help!!

Full disclaimer: I have already ordered these shoes as on sale in a fit of panic that they would sell out and now I am in dire need of a way to fix ugly stones. Or pray somehow they are much nicer in person 😁😬🤪🤷🏻‍♀️

it's hard to tell without seeing them but they look as if it's just some sort of strip that you should be able to pry off.

If not, there are loads of that style around, so it may be worth sending them back and getting another pair.
