What are the best slippers?

V exciting life I lead, but I want some new, warm slippers. Not bootee style, but not top of foot showing either if that makes sense?

I love my Haflingers. They are extremely comfortable but could be seen as unbelievably frumpy...

For me www.justsheepskin.com/. So warm, non smelly and yo7 can take the rubbish ou5 in them. Also good for plantar fasciitis.

I second the Next mule/Ugg style ones after being recommended them on here.

Fraction of the price, extremely comfrtable and warm but still feel sturdy and a decent sole so you can venture outside without your feet getting wet. Lots of designs too.

Another vote for the Next ugg-alike mules recommended on MN. I've discovered that cheap and expensive slippers all wear out the same, the dog chewed my Halflingers so it's back to Next. I should have sized down as they are a bit loose now.

Celtic sheepskin. Amazingly warm, they last for years and you can wash them. Very expensive but worth it

Gumbo's - warm, substantial enough to pop outside in, lovely colours.

Agree with marlin pan. Haflingers are amazing! They are not cheap, but they are pure new wool - substantial, cosy, warm, solid sole, comfy... I could go on! These are mine:

Pain to find them in the UK. Got my first ones in Canada, now nothing else will do!!

I've just bought some Totes Isotoner from TKMaxx, they last years colour (navy) at less than half the price of the same on their own website. They are the warmest pair I've ever bought, even my ice blocks are warm in them. To top it all they have a proper sole, it's these www.totes.co.uk/mobile/details.aspx?pid=51325&colour=navy
