Are ionic hairbrushes any good?

I keep having adverts for ionic hairbrushes pop up. I have long, thick, slightly wavy, slightly frizzy hair. I am pretty tempted to get one for Christmas (I never have any ideas of what to ask for) but want to know if they actually work.
Does anyone use them? Are they any good? Any recommendations please.

I keep getting the ads on Facebook too, also tempted. but I feel like they would be more of a thing if they were that good.

That’s sort of how I feel. I’m just so lazy I like the idea of being able to brush my hair straight!

I just bought one today they have this one on offer in Superdrug, the reviews are good. I’m yet to try it but thought a known brand would be better than the ones on Facebook etc. www.superdrug.com/Braun/Braun-Satin-Hair-7-IONTEC-Brush-BR750/p/753868

Ooh I’ve seen them too and sorely tempted but I’m not sure if they look just like a glossier tangle teaser.

AnastasiaS I’d love to know how you get on with it.
