What Shall I wear? Skirt or trousers?

Im going out in a few weeks to Manchester to meet a few friends, we are going to go to a few cocktail bars, then for a meal.
I always seem to wear skinny jeans, so fancy a chance.
What do most people wear on this kind of day out?

I tend to wear skirts more than trousers, but it’s a case of what YOU feel best in. There is no hard and fast rule.

I love Zara's new wide leg trousers! They look like a maxi skirt but are trousers and are so comfy and stylish! Never been brave enough before to wear anything like that

OP - there is a 3rd way! Have you considered the humble dress. Often overlooked but can be lovely.
