What should I wear

I'm always smartly dressed for work and I find it difficult sometimes to dress down. I'm in my fifties and have 2 days out coming up. Christmas shopping/site seeing etc. I want to look glamorous- I always normally wear heels so will need flat shoes but what can I wear??

Any advice welcome. It will probably be cold too.

I'm happy to buy new clothes. I'm only 5 foot and a bit overweight so I don't want to look dumpy.
