Eyebrow microblading

Anyone had this done - good and bad stories? I am fair and sparse of brow so bit of a double whammy and have been tempted for about a year now but it's so permanent I'm worried I'll hate it. Currently on holiday and lots of ladies with great brows who have obviously had it done. Tempted to take the plunge.

I have, on my third yearly top up and I love it

combatbarbie · 12/11/2019 12:47

Ummed and ahhed about it for couple of years and just bit the bullet last summer. Don't regret it at all! It is a bit weird and they are very dark for couple of days.

Check out tattoo/ombre brows as well. The woman who did mine said that I have oily skin and microblading won't last too long. Very happy with tattoo - didn't hurt at all.

thetwinkletoescollective · 12/11/2019 15:28

I had it and it is amazing. I am so happy i had it done. I have a very sparse left eyebrow and I was forever pencilling them in. Not any more. My make up style is natural and to get them how I wanted I did have to tell the artist what I wanted. You get a preview because they do it first in pencil and that is when I told her I wanted them thinner. They came out perfectly after that.

I’ve had it done and I wouldn’t be without them now. It is a bit painful I won’t lie, but it’s worth it!

chocolatesaltyballs22 · 12/11/2019 22:26

Right, thanks people. It's happening when I get home!

I did it a year ago and it’s still looking great. I’ll probably have a top up next year. I’ve attached before/after

chocolatesaltyballs22 · 13/11/2019 11:00

Very nice @OMGshefoundmeout

I did this and it was the biggest waste of money ever! The pigment didn't stay, my eyebrows just went back to exactly how they were before. This was despite 3 attempts.

The lady who did it just said for some people it doesnt take. So my advice would be to be wary that you may also be one of these people and you may be wasting your money.

JoyceDivision · 13/11/2019 11:11

Whereabouts did you get yours done OMG?

OMGshefoundmeout · 13/11/2019 11:16

If you look on Facebook, the technician I went to is under the name Brows by stavy. She’s in the Enfield area of London so it was a bit of a trek for me from Surrey but she was worth the journey.

Geppili · 13/11/2019 18:23

I had my first treatment about three weeks ago! They looked amazing to begin with. Now they have faded considerably, but my technician says this is normal. I have my top up session soon.

JoyceDivision · 13/11/2019 19:04

Ah bugger, I'm.up north Sad

Whoopstheregomyinsides · 13/11/2019 19:30

Can we see more pics please. They look lovely!

Misty999 · 13/11/2019 19:35

Yommomasmama the same thing happened to me was gutted Iv never met anyone in rl who this happened to. I also got an infection the first time and what looked like an allergic reaction the second. Needless to say I didn't go back for the third at £100 a pop.

KatharinaRosalie · 14/11/2019 08:47

Here are my tattoo ones. I'm very blonde so that's why they are quite light.

I had it done. Took 3 tries for last one but just charged me for the blade.
Think aftercare when you choose date. You need to keep clean like a tattoo for first 7 days I think so a quiet week, no swimming, makeup etc
Mine over a year old. Think you can see the thin arched natural hairline, overall very pleased tho, much quicker to top up and just presentable no makeup.

Kathsmum · 15/11/2019 11:16

Sorry must proofread. 3 goes for left.

I had mine done in South Cumbria and like others debated for a couple of years. But I'm delighted with them. They look really natural as the girl who did them mixes the shades of brown carefully, so you don't get a thick, solid line.

I have a form of alopecia and my eyebrows fell out. I had my eyebrows micro blades on a couple of years ago. The colour is less vibrant, but they still look good.

I was very pleased with my brows and stopped me looking like an alien!
