Alternatives to Mulberry Lily

I have always fancied a Mulberry Lily to use as an evening bag.

But they are so expensive for what is a small simple bag!

Does anyone have any ideas for a good alternative please?

Hill and friends have similar bags . They are designed by a previous designer from mulberry . They are still expensive tho and you could bet a good 2nd hand lily on some of the Facebook selling sites for the same price

Ditto the Aspinal Lottie bag. I have a Lily too but use my Lottie a lot more. The quality is better and it has more structure and pockets then the mulberry.

The Lottie looks nice! Do you have the small or micro size? What can you fit in it?

I have the small size - I can fit in everything I would need for a night out - phone, a couple of bits of makeup, tissues, keys.. I guess you could fit a small purse in but I tend to use the zip compartment for cards and cash

I have the small size (which is about the same as the regular lily). It has two interior sections plus a zipped bit in between. I can comfortably fit a small purse/cardholder, small brolly, phone, lippy, mini hairbrush/mirror. I’ve used it for a day out in London and got the essentials in there!

The lily doesn’t have any interior pockets/sections and is slouchier looking. I actually bought a felt bag liner for mine as I didn’t like the way it collapsed in on itself if half empty.

OP I’ve just looked in Selfridges website and there are actually some Lottie bags reduced!

I love the Lily, could you look on eBay, you wouldn't be disappointed with one!

Where do you live - is it anywhere near a mulberry outlet store .

Not quite decided about colour but I do like the black with silver hardware. The standard size one. I'm in NW London/Herts.

I bought my black lily with silver hardware from the Facebook selling pages . It was £400. It looks new and I love it.
Think your nearest outlet is Oxford way
