Cowboy style boots? Help please!

I really fancy some cowboy style boots to wear with midi skirts or rolled up jeans, but I don't want to spend too much on them as I am not sure how long I will want to wear them for!

I love these from Hush www.hush-uk.com/footwear-2/footwear/boots/crail-boots.htm but £199 is more than I want to part with at the moment

Has anyone seen similar somewhere else for less? All the ones I can find look like they are part of a dressing up set (elaborate patterns, 2 tone etc) but I would prefer a sleek simple design like the Hush ones

Thanks 😊

I don't think I would have immediately thought of cowboy boots when I saw those. I have some proper cowboy ones from a trip to Nashville, and they are so fun to wear, and go with so many outfits. They have a small heel and are surprisingly comfortable (I normally hate heels). I'd go full cowboy not just a little bit!

You mean a western boot, Topshop normally have loads

Thanks @morningdread it's closer to the price point I had in mind, and they do have some simple styles, although they seem to be mostly ankle high. I might have a look in the store and try some on

@MrsJamin most "proper" ones seem to have a lot of western style detailing and I would prefer something simpler, but I like the cowboy style shape

Those Hush ones are such an unflattering height. Mid-shin is not an attractive place for the eye to pause.

With midi length dresses or skirts I would do knee length boots.

There used to be fabulous store that sold only cowboy boots called R Soles. Good grief I miss the 90s.

AntennaReborn · 11/11/2019 21:11

@mumdom the 90's were pretty great!!

Zalando has quite a good range of cowboyish boots.

How about these? They also come in snakeskin with neon trim Grin

AntennaReborn · 12/11/2019 17:40

@BigFatBloomers thanks, I forgot about Zalando! The ones in the link look very much like what I am looking for!! Smile (and at that price I could buy black AND snakeskin / neon Grin)

Zalando always surprises me. I find it's good if I want to look at lots of one thing. I once order about 8 pairs of silver ballet shoes when I was looking for the perfect pair.

Enjoy - Yee Ha!

the main website has styles café and patricia to look at
