Has anyone had blepharoplasty?

As the title says. I'm going to need this done in the not too distant future as my eyelids are so hooded they are pushing my eyelashes down! If you have had it done- how much did it cost and how did you find the best surgeon? I'm in the north east so any recommendations gratefully received.

Yes! I had this done in Cambridge about two years ago. I had eyelids and brow lift and am delighted with the results. I did write a thread about it which had lots of photos.

I’m 44 now and it definitely took years off me as my eyes were very hooded, particularly on one side. I think for eyelids only the price was about 3k.

Wow, that looks amazing! Can you link to your thread, I would love to read it. There are 2 surgeons I've found in Newcastle, one is 3,000 and the other is quoting 6,000. A huge difference and I'm wondering why?

Yep, me, about 4 months ago. Cost £2500 in the north west. Had it under local, which wasn't nice tbh. Felt it quite a lot in places and had to have top up local. Having the stitches out was by far the worse bit though. The only reason I didn't cry was cos I was scared of it stinging. I turned the air blue though and had to keep having breaks 😩 Had horrific black eyes for weeks but all worth it now, as it looks great.

Before, a couple of days after and about 4 weeks after. The scars are pretty much invisible now and the skin discoloration is largely back to normal.

Wow, I've just had a look at your thread and the results are fantastic. You were similar to me in that one eye is worse than the other. Mine is really noticeable in pictures, almost like I'm winking. Do you mind me asking how much it cost?

OP if you’re referring to me then around 3k. I think for both brow lift and upper eye correction it was 6k
