How to remove eyelash extensions?

I saw a friend who does eyelashes this week and she did some for me. She lives hours away and I'm not planning on having them done again so when the time comes, how do I get them off??

Oil or oil based products. I've always used Vaseline and then they've peeled off no problems. It's probably not great for your lashes, but it's very satisfying.

I'm an eyelash technician. Ideally, you should have them removed professionally. Or you can purchase a remover online, like this one...

Whatever you do, do not be tempted to pick or pull them off yourself. This will cause your natural lashes to fall out & you will end up with gaps in your lash line.

Permanently?

I was told to use something oil based too.

Annecdotally this has never happened to me.

I heard vaseline was actually good for your lashes....
No clue about extensions or how to remove them though, sorry 🙄

I've had them done three times and did not get them removed any of those times. The first time I found them very uncomfortable and I tried baby oil, vaseline and steam, but nothing really worked, so I just left them till they grew out. Just left them the other two times. They grew out fine. My eyelashes are fine. I wouldn't get them again because of the maintenance.

Coconut oil applied with a cotton bud and gently wiped away with a cotton pad worked well for me.
