How would you style this dress?

I'm going out for dinner next week with some friends, not a special occasion but a nice-ish restaurant (think £40 to £50 a head type place).

I'm thinking of wearing this dress as its something I already own, but I've no idea what to wear with it as last time I wore it was to a summer wedding with pale pink strappy sandals which is obviously no good for this time of year.

I'm short, so it's knee length on me and quite forgiving over my tummy which I'm conscious of since having DS six months ago.

So hit me with ideas of what you'd wear with it pretty please. I'm on the edge of Birmingham so have access to most shops.

I would wear it with black opaques, flat black biker boots and a leather jacket, with lots of bangles.

Agree - black tights and boots. Maybe heeled boots if the place is nice
