What do we think of this affordable (compared to AllSaints) biker jacket?

Have spent hundreds over the years in cheap pleather high st bikers either new or from ebay that have never been right and have always aged terribly (pleather starts to crack etc).

I want a real leather one that will get better with age.

In an ideal world I'd have an AllSaints but it just ain't happening financially.

Have just ordered this and am hopeful for the following reasons:

• Real leather
• Silver hardware
• More of a rock chick vibe than a classic one.
• Looks nice and soft

The belt is a concern as I'll be wearing it open but the AllSaints Balfearn is exactly the same. Does anyone have that one and is the belt annoying?

I like it.

Would want to see it in RL before comitting as the quality of the leather might be dubious for that price. Or it might be a fabulous bargain.

I think the leather looks cheap. I wouldn’t expect anything from New Look to be very good quality.

I have an allsaints one which I’ve had for about 5 years and it still looks in perfect condition. I expect it will last many more years to come.

Update when you receive the jacket...

I like it. If I hadn't forked out for an All Saints one in the Jan sales last year, I'd have gone for it.

I quite like it but it would be too long for me. What's your body shape?

I have one i wear open with a belt like that and it is a minor annoyance. My cats like it

Oh I fully expect it to look cheap compared to an AllSaints one, it's 1/3 of the price so 🤷

Still hopefully optimistic though.

I have this jacket - well it’s very very similar, new look biker from a/W 2018. It’s fine, it looks better now I have worn it in as it was a bit shiny on first arrival

I got my allsaints dalby in the next sale in August for £145.
It's worth looking at the vip sale online- I'm sure one is due end of the month!
