Anyone got a home microdermabrasion machine?

I'm thinking of investing in one, but I wonder if the results are as good as what you'd get if you had it done by a dermatologist?

Are the home ones a fad? If anyone has one, would you recommend?

I have the Kraser and use it a couple of times a week. I doubt it's as powerful as what a salon has but I'm happy with it.

Thanks Zara. Does it make your skin look healthier? That's all I'm after really, doesn't need to be a miracle worker, just a little 'pick me up' when I've had a few too many late nights and my skin is looking dull.

Penny, yes I definitely notice a difference. I was a bit sceptical about the great reviews for Kraser but it really is very good.

I’ve been using the Trophy Skin one found on the Current Body site. It’s fabulous

Another Trophy skin fan. Definitely as deep as a salon treatment, and pays for itself in two goes. I save my good skin products for when I’ve done a session- there really is a difference with how much is absorbed.

Thank you! This is what I was thinking. If it's as good as getting it done 'professionally' then it'd work out cheaper to just invest in one and do it myself.
