Palmers cocoa butter moisturiser?

There is an oily soap with exfoliant in Lush called something like ‘Buffy the bottom slayer’, which is brilliant on elbows and the bobbly skin on upper arms. Use it at the end of your shower, and just rinse off- you’re left with oily, baby soft skin. Don’t leave the soap in the shower though, as it goes mushy really easily.

Chop a lemon in half and use your elbows like a lemon squeezer.

I’ve not tried it yet but I bought a tube of Dr Paw Paw cream yesterday that gets v good reviews. It can be used on any areas of very dry skin including lips, it’s a bit of a multi purpose product.

Yes lemon squeezer really, although you have just made me think that I could make up lots of funny solutions for other minor ailments

I use heel repair cream when mine get really bad

Dove Pro Age lotion (in a burgundy coloured bottle) contains lactic acid which is brilliant for rough scaly skin.

La Roche Posay lipikar lotion is my absolute favourite for very dry skin. Non-scented and sinks in very fast.

Also try a body scrub containing either sugar or salt. (You can make your own with an oil and sea salt/granulated sugar) I'm associated to Elemis Salt Glow but it's expensive so use Soap and Glory Sugar Crush in between. The S&G one has a lot of oils on in so is particularly good on dry patches.

Nadine Baggott did a video on body lotions this week. She has some good recommendations m.youtube.com/watch?v=PJ4p7_kqlR4

I tried lemon on my elbows once. It was an unpleasant experience for me as, unbeknownst to me, they were a bit cracked and stung.

Flexitol heel balm. I use it on my hooves every night. Slightly randomly I discovered that I have one soft elbow and one like an elephant’s arse. Turns out I had got into an unconscious habit of wiping my hand on my elbow after doing my feet, Works like a dream and I do it deliberately on both sides now!
