Style my dress!

I have bought this fab dress; it looks gorgeous on! I've so far gotten away with wearing it bare legged with flats but now winter is here it requires black tights and books, I think.

I have black ankle Chelsea boots that are a bit too dressy, I think? I have black heeled shoe boots that would work but I don't want to be in heels all day, I am quite tall and can look a bit overdressed in heels.

What boots do I need? Something DM ish but more feminine?? I've skinny ankles and long thin feet - look dreadful in converse. Help!!

Tan suede or leather 70s style knee boots.

Chelsea boots fine.
Ankle, knee, calf boots all fine - flat or heeled.
Black, tan, red, burgundy, camel, would all work.

Long boots. 70s style.
