Where to buy soft, black jegging type trousers?

In a bid to feel less frumpy and awful looking I need to find some suitable skinny jeggings / trousers to wear with some longer jumpers and boots that are in my wardrobe but haven't been worn in a while. I found some nice fitting thick leggings in Apricot but can't seem to find anything in a heavier material (for when I want something a bit more than leggings, or to wear with shorter tops). Ideally I would like them to be jet black rather than the washed out black. Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks.

I've bought a pair of 'Eden' from Dorothy Perkins, really soft and comfy! I've ordered another two in different colours! They are very price friendly - not sure how long they will last, but I was impressed!

Thanks for the suggestion. They were actually the first ones that came up when I Googled for inspiration. I'll take a look.

Uniqlo do them in a couple of different fabrics and they are really comfy.

fluffygal · 07/11/2019 22:09

Uniqlo are the best!

I've got these. They're comfy, and they've got pockets!

heidbuttsupper · 07/11/2019 22:13

I wear these ones pretty much every day

Uniqlo super stretchy leggings! I bought a pair past year which i have worn constantly (at least twice a week) and are only now top worn out for work

WatchingTheMoon · 08/11/2019 04:17

Had my Uniqlo ones for 4 years and they still look great.

I've got 4 pairs of Oasis 'Jade' skinny jeans in various colours/sizes (they keep changing the fabric so you might have to order a selection to see what fits)

www.oasis-stores.com/gb/clothing/jeans/washed-jade-skinny-jeans/071437.html?dwvar_071437_color=92&position=18&cgid=jeans

They're stretchier and thinner than you'd expect from jeans so more like jeggings but with proper pockets.

Baxdream · 08/11/2019 11:06

I have these, really good quality and different lengths available.
Mine are last season so slightly different zip detail

Uniqlo for me too

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 08/11/2019 19:54

I have M&S Treggings which are brilliant but no-one seems to want to shop there now !

borntobequiet · 08/11/2019 20:15

I got some Paper & Stitch black skinny-ish jeans from TK MAXX and they’re the best fitting, comfiest jeans I’ve ever worn (£16.99).

Shufflebumnessie · 08/11/2019 20:36

Thanks for all the suggestions. Guess I'll have to try a few different brands to see which fit best.

They're nice heidbuttsupper
Where are they from?

Gentleness · 08/11/2019 23:25

I'm following these recommendations closely but I'm imagining you are all more slim than me! Does anyone know how they work for a size 20? I need something more flexible that can cope with the horrible bloating I get, without falling down or doing the builder's bum thing.

Igottastartthinkingbee · 08/11/2019 23:28

White Stuff jeggings are brill. So comfy.

Baxdream · 09/11/2019 08:37

The ones I posted go up to size 26. I wear them when I want something comfortable so might be worth trying?

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 09/11/2019 10:02

I have Sainsbury Ponte leggings too, thicker than a legging with a seam down the front that makes them smarter than a legging

thenightsky · 09/11/2019 10:05

Another vote for the Sainsbury ponte ones with the seam down the front.

heidbuttsupper · 14/11/2019 23:19

Sorry @TheMarbleFaun New Look

heidbuttsupper · 14/11/2019 23:25

@Gentleness these are def worth a try. I'm an 18 and love them. So flattering and comfy. Plus, look smart for work etc they are from New Look

Asda have some great black jegging / jeans that look smart and are really comfy.

TileFloors · 15/11/2019 05:28

Uniqlo heattech ones for the winter. Softest trousers I’ve ever owned

PorridgeAgainAbney · 15/11/2019 05:46

I love the black ones I've bought from Sainsburys. They are kind of stretchy jeans rather than leggings: I bought a size up so they weren't skin tight, they are really comfy, don't go baggy even after 3 wears and they are high waisted so I love wearing them with shorter tops too.
