Need a complete interview outfit for ITT

I'm nearing 50, a size 14/16 (bottom half def a 16) and I've been invited to interview in a couple of weeks. It's for a teacher training degree. I think I need to be ultra smart but give the professional but approachable vibe. Also I will be sat on the carpet for some of the teaching task so nothing too short or too low.

As I said I'm a fat 16. Flabby arms, thighs, knees. Not averse to wearing heels but don't want to teeter or fall over! Also open to trouser or dresses. Literally will order loads and see what is most comfy.

I really want this and I'm terrified so want to feel as confident as possible.

Please send me any ideas or photos!

I wore a bog standard black trousers and black jacket plus blouse for mine. From Primark IIRC. Got accepted. I'm not sure your sartorial choices are worth stressing over tbh. Good luck with the teaching task though.

No I know they're not, I just want to feel comfy and confident. Then I can start stressing about the teaching task!

Yes it's for Primary. My normal workwear (dress and cardi) just doesn't seem business like or formal enough.

I would go fully formal. You're not going to feel overdressed but don't want to run the risk of feeling underdressed. It's all about confidence.

Speaking as an interviewer for ITT courses, as long as you turn up clean and not in denim you'll be judged for the things that really matter, namely your enthusiasm and communication skills. Good luck!

Thank you! At the moment I'm a little bit excited and very terrified😮
