Boots Advantage Card coupons

I've had a Boots Advantage card for years and years. Several times per year I've always received coupons through the post. Some are for double points (which you can use twice), some are for particular products, and some give you extra points if you spend a certain amount. There's never been more than a couple of weeks' gap between one batch expiring and the next arriving.

But my last lot of vouchers expired at the beginning of October, and I haven't had any since. Nor has my husband received any for his own Advantage Card. I've contacted Boots to ask whether we should have received them and have been given a "computer says no" response. Apparently the computer decides whether to send the vouchers out, and not everyone gets them every time. This is certainly news to me. Both my husband and I have consistently received them for as far back as we can remember.

Has anyone else myseteriously not received their usual Advantage Card coupons - or been told that they're not automatically sent out to everyone?

I have never had them as I have the app and they are always on there.

I have the app but still get the vouchers in the post. It sounds to me like yours have been lost in the post but they can't send out replacements. But maybe login to your Advantage card account and check your contact preferences - sometimes I find these have been wrongly updated.

Think it goes by what you spend in store. If you download the new app there are always offers you can load to your card and i think you get 500 for downloading app

Thanks, eveyrone. Yes- I already have the app, but the offers on that are never the same, and I've still had regular coupons through the post, even though I've had the app for a couple of years now. I think nothingwittyhere is probably right that ours must have got lost in the post this time. Ho hum.

this happened to me once, there was a box i had ticked/unticked in my account. Has happened to a friend recently but between us we couldn't find the same box so she rang up to get it sorted.

If you've had them before it is unlikely you suddenly wont qualify again.

I've never had any coupons apart from the ones you get given at the till and I spend bucketloads in Boots. I didn't even know they did vouchers!

I get the coupons, almost without fail forget to use them though and bin most of them anyway. I don't spend a lot in Boots anyway as they're overpriced so double/triple points or 50 points when you spend (quite a bit) of money aren't of interest to me really. Neither are free sunglasses with a prescription pair (don't wear any) and £5 off when you spend £30 on a fragrance- you can save more by shopping around IMO. I'd rather have money saved than tie it up in boots points, especially as you have to have the full amount to use them, which is rubbish.
