How to fix faded BearPaw boots?

I got given a faded purple pair of Bearpaw boots. The surface is suede, I think. It's perfectly fine if not for the fading.

Do you have any suggestions to make the overall colour more even? I don't mind if it's equally faded all over iykwim. Or is there a way to restore the original dark purple?

Post a pic as often it's not fading but sort of water marks which means after a wash they are even in colour .

Will post a picture in the morning as I think the 'fading' will be more visible in daylight.
